Trisha Paytas recently trended for a shocking and offensive video she made called I Am Transgender (Female to Male). She has found her biggest ally in bestie Gigi Gorgeous.

Trisha, who often posts funny lighthearted videos, is no stranger to controversy; however, when she ‘came out’ as transgender — it gained more attention than ever before.

In the video, Trisha talks about identifying as a male because of stereotypical things like most of her friends being guys and not liking to wear makeup. Not only does she say that she’s trans, but she insists that she is a gay trans man because she is attracted to other gay men.

‘I identify with men better. People always think, like, there’s something wrong with me because I don’t have, like, that many girlfriends. Like, I love girls. Like, I do love girls, and I love, like, their sensitivity and all that stuff like that. But that’s why I identify more as, like, a gay man, because I like guys, but I also identify as a guy.’

After mas criticism from the LGBTQ community, Gigi Gorgeous wants people to believe her friend.

The trans female Youtuber explained that when she watched the video — she felt a lot of the same emotions as the critics. But after talking to Paytas, Gigi has an understanding of what Trisha means and is sticking up for her.

She uploaded her own reaction video where she explained: ‘What I found out through the years through my journey is that being transgender is who you are, it’s your soul. It’s not about how you look. I firmly believe that when someone tells you who they are, what their label is, how they want to be identified, you have to believe that person.’
