Jeremy Diermeier lived an extraordinary life filled with love, achievement, and service to others. Though his time on earth was cut short, his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.

Early Life and Education

Jeremy was born on December 7, 1978 in New London, Wisconsin to Jack and Donna Diermeier. The second of two sons, Jeremy grew up in Shiocton and thrived as a student and athlete. He graduated high school in 1997 with numerous accolades including Perfect Attendance, President of the National Honors Society, Prom King, Football MVP, and Band Honor Roll.

Jeremy attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville alongside several close high school friends. In 2002, he earned his bachelor's degree in Construction Management. At UW-Platteville, Jeremy stayed active by playing racquetball with legendary coach Bo Ryan and joining the fraternity Alpha Delta Chi.

Career

After graduating college, Jeremy started his own construction company before joining his father at SL Builders as a General Contractor. He eventually took full ownership of the family business in 2021. Jeremy was a skilled builder who took immense pride in his work.

Family Life

Jeremy met his beloved wife Ashley in 2007 and they married on July 4, 2015. Together they were blessed with two amazing children, Blake (12) and Alexis (5). Jeremy embraced fatherhood and took joy in coaching Blake's sports teams and teaching both kids to waterski. He passed on his talents and passions to his children.

Hobbies and Interests

In his free time, Jeremy enjoyed cheering on Wisconsin sports teams, hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with friends and relatives. He loved the outdoors and was always up for having a good time. Jeremy lived life to the fullest.

Personality and Character

Jeremy was known for his easy-going nature, friendly smile, and willingness to lend a hand. He treated everyone with kindness and had a knack for putting people at ease. Jeremy faced life's challenges with positivity, humility, and grace. His integrity and care for others left a lasting impact.

Sudden Loss

On August 24, 2023, Jeremy's family, friends, and community suffered an enormous loss when he passed away unexpectedly. Though his time with loved ones was cut short, the memories made will never fade. Jeremy lived life passionately and purposefully, spreading joy to all who knew him.

Legacy

Jeremy leaves behind his adoring wife Ashley; children Blake and Alexis; father Jack Diermeier; stepmother Tracy Diermeier; brother Jason Diermeier; stepbrother Trevor Ringwelski; and many more relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Diermeier and grandparents.

While just 43 years old, Jeremy packed multiple lifetimes worth of achievement into his time on earth. His humility, care for others, love of family, and zest for life will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. Jeremy's spirit lives on in the hearts of his community.

Honoring His Memory

Visitation will be held at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk on August 24th, followed by an additional visitation at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton and a funeral mass on August 26th. Jeremy will be laid to rest at St. Denis Cemetery.

The outpouring of love and support for the Diermeier family serves as a testament to Jeremy's remarkable life. Though his loss leaves an immense void, his memory will be cherished forever. Jeremy's loved ones find solace knowing he lived life to the fullest and lit up the world around him. His guiding light carries on.
